Mission Statement

We pledge to our friends and neighbors to produce a fun, family-oriented festival, and to provide "old-fashioned," wholesome entertainment. In doing so, we strive to foster community involvement and civic pride. Our goal is to be financially strong and to support our community by donating funds to local charities, thus making Brunswick an even better place to live!

The Old Fashioned Days Committee is always looking for new members. There is a wide array of job skills necessary to run this type of organization so there are always positions available: computer skills in Word, Excel, Front Page, any other type of publishing; stuff envelopes, clean, paint, etc.

Meetings are held at 7:30 PM, the fourth Wednesday of the month, all year.

Old Fashioned Days Festival -

 A Community Organization

Old Fashioned Days (OFD) is the largest annual event held in the City of Brunswick and the second largest in Medina County. It takes place over 5 days and draws around 20,000 guests.

 OFD is a Not-For-Profit community organization. We are not affiliated with any city or municipality, but are staffed entirely by volunteers from Brunswick and the surrounding communities These volunteers give of their time and talents free of charge. No one on the OFD Committee collects a wage for their services as a committee member. All excess profits generated by the festival and other fundraisers held throughout the year are donated to local charities.
A successful festival requires the efforts of many people and calls for a vast array of talents and abilities. We would be THRILLED to welcome you to our team. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about how to get involved.
